Ordinarily, Presidents’ Day is celebrated on the 16th of February. Last year, Librarian James Ward did a recitation of the Gettysburg Address as President Lincoln at the Middle Country Public Library and Hauppauge Public Library.
This year, he will do a repeat performance at the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton on April 13th and Middle Country Public Library on April 14th, as well as taking on the role of General Ulysses S. Grant alongside Steven DeFriest as General Robert E. Lee at Middle Country Public Library on April 9th. All are open to the public!
We can costume you as any president, military or historical figure, for parades, presentations, reenactments, and school projects– for men, women and even children!
